Old British Rollem Pocket Dice Gambling Game
Dice   Die   Craps   Game   Gaming   Gambler   Gambling   Miniature
The picture shows a top and bottom view of this Old British Rollem Pocket Dice Gambling Game. The game is not dated but is believed to be from the 1950s. It resembles machines that were used in old bar room, saloon, or cigar stores. It operates like one of the old trade stimulator or gambling machines, but this one is small enough to fit in any pocket. The two dice are sealed under a clear plastic section. To operate it the yellow button on the side is pressed and the platform the dice are on spins. The bumps along the side make the dice roll and spin. The spring loaded button then stops after a few seconds with the dice rolled. The dice are made of a white plastic. This could also be used with any game that requires a pair of dice. It was most likely used for illegal gambling in its day. It still works well. The bottom red hard plastic section is marked as follows:

ROLLEM DICE GAME
104
ALCO
BRIT. PATENT NO 25579/62
MADE IN BRITISH HONG KONG

Not counting the protruding button the game measures 2'' wide. It appears to be in excellent condition with light wear from use as pictured.
