The picture shows the cover of this Old Lowney's "Girl's Head Picture" Chocolates Candy Box. It is not dated but believed to be from the early 1900's. It pictures a pretty lady (Flapper ?) on the cover. It is signed by the Artist. It appears to read FITZ ORNTON. There is an applied frame with a leaf like print. That same print is on the sides of the lid. There is a ribbon that was probably used to hold a card. It is almost separated at the bottom end. Inside is the original cotton lined waxed paper divider. It is marked on the bottom as follows:

Lowney's Chocolates (logo)
Girl's Head Picture
Milk Assorted Chocolates
No. 512
Lowney's
Div. Of Candy Brands, Inc. Boston, Mass., U.S.A.
Net Weight Two Pounds

It measures 7-5/8" x 10-3/4" x 2". It is in good condition with some even wear all over and a few small spots on the cover.
