The picture shows a view of this Old Black Face Tea Pot Pottery Salt & Pepper Set. This set is not dated but is believed to be from the 1930s. From the unglazed bottoms of the feet they appear to be made of pottery or fired clay, like brick. They are glazed in black and are hand painted in green, red, white, yellow, and blue. These are marked with a blue and white ''JAPAN'' sticker on the bottom. One has the number ''20035'' painted in gold on the bottom as well. The left one pictured has ''SALT'' scratched on the green are at the top. They measure 3'' tall. They are in good condition but the paint is flaking on them. They could be repainted if desired. Both have thier original cork stoppers, but one has fallen inside.
