I am not sure how all of these were used. Some backs can be removed and others can not. Some have nice engraved designs. The top left one has a red stone and a few others have other stones as well. One at the top with a leaf has white glass that is cracked. There is a blue one that is enameled. Some of these may be gold, gold plated, or gold filled, but I do not see markings stating that.
