With the stories there are many colorful illustrated pages throughout. Just a few examples are pictured below. The book is told by Margaret Wise Brown and illustrated by The Walt Disney Studio. It was published by D. C. Heath and Company of Boston, Massachusetts. The book was copyrighted in 1939 by Walt Disney Productions of Hollywood, California and copyrighted in The Philippine Islands. It was printed in The United States by The Western Printing and Lithographing Company. There are (10) stories in the book and the table of contents reads as follows: THE LITTLE PIG'S PICNIC

THE OLD MILL The book measures about 6-1/4'' x 8-1/2'' x 1/2''. It appears to be in good used condition as pictured. The book is complete, but there is over all wear and some small tears from being read many times. The front inside cover has a penciled name and a stamping that reads ''PROPERTY OF THE STATE OF MAINE NUMBER 3''. The last few pages have some scribbling in pencil. |
