The picture shows an inside and outside view of this Unused 1940s Homefront Sweetheart Greeting Card. It has an image of the U.S. Capital Building and an American flag that is covered in tiny clear balls. Inside there is a banner. It reads as follows:

To My Sweetheart In The Service
It's only a message of loving remembrance,
My Sweetheart, to tell you anew
That someone is waiting
and someone is caring
And someone is so proud of You!

The card was made in the U.S.A. and closed it measures 4-1/2'' x 5-3/4''. It is in near mint unused condition as pictured.
