Pretty Lady Wooden Hinged Box
Art Nouveau Pretty Lady Box

The picture shows three views of this Pretty Lady Wooden Hinged Box. Shown are both sides of the lid on the box and a closer view of an inscription that is on the bottom. The sides have a wood grain design like the lid and the edges are burnt stripes. It has a real Art Nouveau look to it. The design appears to be burnt and pressed into the wood. This is a great old gift box. The corners are nailed and the lid is hinged. The inscription written on the bottom reads:
ALMA
FROM
Mr. Tom Wilson

It is not dated. It measures 12-5/8" x 4-1/4" x 1-1/4". It is in excellent condition. There is a tiny piece of wood (splinter) missing from one of the back corners.
