There are also gold pages inside with a National Grange emblem. This is a very nicely made award folder. It has an imitation blue leather cover, gold rope binding with a tassel and some onionskin type protective paper inside as well. The cover is heavily embossed: THE

ESTABLISHED 1867 The award was issued on July, 8th, 1949 to a Herbert H. Ashley for 50 years of service and it is numbered #8277. It is neatly signed by Master A.S. GOSS and Secretary HARRY A. CATON. The when closed measures 5" x 7-1/16" and it is in near mint condition with the exception of a little wear on the binding edge. |
