| | | | The picture shows a view of this Unused 1965 Post Cereal Linus Spring-n-String Action Toy Prize. This prize came in a 1965 box of Post Sugar Sparkled Rice Krinkles Cereal. It may have come in other Post brand cereals at the same time as well. Is was one of a set of four of these Spring-n-String action toys by Gold Premiums. The other characters included: So-Hi, Sugar Bear, and Billie Bird. This prize is complete with the instruction card, the string, and the original prize envelope. Once assembled, with the aid of the included spring, the character bobs back and forth as it rides down the string. This one is made of blue hard plastic. It, as well as the others in the set, were also made in red plastic. To judge the sizes the prize on the sprue measures about 2-1/4'' x 3-1/4''. The envelope had been opened but the prize is in mint unused and unassembled condition as pictured. |
