The pictures show four views of this Colorful Old Kanto Toys Lithographed Tin Friction Santa Fe Locomotive Train Engine. This tin toy train engine is not dated. It was made in Japan by Kanto Toys. It is a friction toy that does not ride on a track. The front wheels roll and behind the second larger set of wheels are rubber wheels with a friction mechanism. It was made without any hitch for any other train cars. It is marked as follows:

The train engine measures about 4-5/8'' x 1-1/4'' x 1-3/4''. It appears to be in excellent to near mint condition with only very light wear as pictured.
