| There are four pictures showing views of this Colorful Old Paper & Glass Novelty Magic Book. The first picture shows the book closed. There are actually two of them that are attached. One of the sections is opened to reveal a rhinoceros, duck, elephant, leopard, and a bear in the center under glass. The book is then closed and secretly turned over and reopened. When reopened the paper now reveals a chimpanzee, tiger, zebra bear, and now a duck in the center under glass. This is a nice and colorful old magic trick that will amaze many people and is easy to do. The book has two patent numbers #368178 and #368179. It was made in Japan. It is not dated but believed to be from the 1920s or 1930s. Opened it measures 7-3/8'' x 5-7/8''. It is in very good condition with some wear from use as well as a cracked glass in the center as pictured. The glass could be replaced if it could be carefully removed from the paper. |
