Old Painted Celluloid Novelty Toy Lion Figurine
Celluloid   Toy   Lion   Cat   Animal   Figure   Figurine   Novelty
The picture shows two side views of this Old Painted Celluloid Novelty Toy Lion Figurine. This hollow lion figure is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1930s. It may have been used as an old carnival or fair prize, but it could have also been sold in an old five and dime store. There is a ''U.S.A.'' marking with a manufacturers monogram mark. It is nicely painted in a tan color with black eyes. It measures about 4'' x 2-1/2'' x 1-1/4''. It appears to be in mint condition as pictured.
