(101) Colorful Old German Made Mosaic Toy Game Clay Marbles
German   Germany   Mosaic   Toy   Game   Kit   Clay   Marble   Novelty   Nostalgic   Art
The picture shows a view of all (101) Colorful Old German Made Mosaic Toy Game Clay Marbles in this lot. These small clay marbles could be from the early 1900s to the 1940s. They were used in kits that were put out by different German and American toy companies. They would have come boxed with a board or cardboard full of holes. You would make simple pictures with the marbles by putting them in the holes by color. These kits would be a precursor to the famous ''Lite Brite'' toy that was created by Hasbro (Hassenfeld Brothers) in 1967. These marbles are in metallic colors including: blue, pink, green, and gold. We did not count the numbers of each color but it looks like there is a good even mix. The marble each measure about 3/8'' wide. They appear to range from good to mint condition as pictured. There are some in the lot that have some paint chips or flakes.
