| The pictures show a top and bottom view of this Old Black Bakelite Roofing Company Advertising Premium Cigarette Ashtray with Bonuses. This ashtray is not dated but it is believed to be from the late 1940s or early 1950s. It is made of a hard black bakelite type plastic material with white imprinted advertising. The ashtray has (8) slots for cigarettes and a match book holder. It is marked on the two sides as follows: BUREAU BROS., INC.

MADE U.S.A. The bonuses here are a colorful old matchbook cover that is probably from the same time period as the ashtray. It is from Grossman's Building Materials. Also a 1980s Grossman's advertising note pad. To judge the sizes the ashtray measures 3-3/4'' wide. The ashtray and the match cover appear to be in excellent condition as pictured. The cover has no matches and some old paste on the inside from being in an old scrap book at some time. |
