Old Brass British King George Card Counter Game Token Coin
Brass   England   British   King George   Card   Game   Gaming   Coin   Numismatic   Exonumia   Token   Medal   Medallion   Charm
The picture shows a view of both sides of this Old Brass British King George Card Counter Game Token Coin. This coin has a 1768 but it is believed to be from the 1800s. It is not a legal tender coin. We have been told that this is some type of coin used as a spade half guinea counter for a card game. The coin has an image of King George on one side and a crest shield with a crown on the other. It is marked on the two sides as follows:

GEORGIVS III DEI GRATIA
IN MEMORY OF THE GOOD OLD DAYS
1768

The coin has a hole to hang it as a medallion or charm. It measures 1'' wide. It appears to be in excellent condition as pictured.
