| | | | The picture shows three views of this Old Miniature United States Navy Hard Plastic Toy War Ship on Wheels. This tiny war ship is not dated but it is believed to be from the late 1940s or the 1950s. It was probably sold from an old five and dime store. There may be other different ones, but we do not know for sure. This is the first one like it that we have had. It is not marked and the maker is unknown. The toy ship on wheels resembles earlier penny toys that were made of tin, lead, or wood from much earlier days. The miniature Navy ship is made of red hard plastic with a little black plastic mixed in. It has two sets of yellow rolling wheels. This tiny toy ship only measures 1-7/8'' x 15/16'' x 3/8''. It appears to be in mint as made condition as pictured. |
