The picture shows a view of the cover of this May 1947 Issue of Marine News Magazine. This (164) page Trade Publication is filled cover to cover with advertising and information pertaining to all aspects of the industry of ships, shipping, and ship building. This thick magazine has images and information pertaing to everything from tug boats to super liners! At a quick glance there are barges, steamers, fishing boats, dredges, freighterss, tankers, passenger & cargo liners, U.S. Navy ships, cruise vessels, steamships, and more. The magazine has loads of advertising for engines, boilers, other equipment, parts, accessories, and every other marine item imaginable. There is far too much in here to mention. The magazine measures 8-3/4'' x 11-1/2''. It is in good condition with some overall wear from use. The most wear is to the cover as pictured.
