The picture shows a view of this 1902 Massachusetts S. S. Association Celluloid Convention Pin Back Button. This pinback button is believed to be from a Sunday School convention but we do not know for certain. It has black print on an off white background. There is a paper insert in the back with a union marking. It is marked on the two sides as follows:

MASS. S. S. ASSOCIATION
CONVENTION
SPRINGFIELD, OCT. 7 - 8 - 9, 1902

BUTTONS MADE BY
WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO.
NEWARK, N.J., U.S.A.
PAT. APRIL 14, 1896, JULY 21, 1896

The pin back button measures 1-1/4'' wide. It appears to be in near mint condition as pictured.
