| | | | The picture shows this Original 1960s W.T. Grants Company Party 8mm Color Film With Audio Tape. THE FILM
The film fills a 3" reel. We are not sure how many feet of film that is. This film was made by an amateur film maker in the 1960's. It was a Christmas or New Years Party. The exact date is probably on the audio tape. It is not a copy and it is never before seen footage. The party was for the employees of store #260 and it was held at the long since gone City Hotel of Rochester, New Hampshire. It has people dancing with party hats. There is a silver Christmas tree there. Near the end it shows a few moments inside a W.T Grants Store and at the end it shows the company sign outside.THE AUDIO TAPE
We had purchased an entire box of films and audio tapes from the elderly man who had made them and everything was labeled or marked. Anyway, some of the films in the lot had audio narration tapes that were synchronized with the films and others had background music that played with the films. Included here is one of those tapes. We only listened to part of it and heard music and talking. It is included here with the film.The film has clear images, plays well and is in mint as made condition. It has been stored away all these years! |
