| | | | The picture shows a view of all (8) panels of this Old Ford Seattle-ite XXI Futuristic Auto Advertising Brochure. The brochure is not dated but is believed to be from the early 1960s. It has an interesting future car that greatly resembles the Batman Batmobile. This six wheeled vehicle has four wheels in the front. Ahead of its day it boasts a travel programming computer like those being used today. It has Jalousie (or louvered) windows. It was designed to have a removable front end that could be uncoupled from the passenger compartment to install a different optional power unit. This vehicle would be powered by fuel cells or a compact nuclear device. This was obviously someones amazing dream car at Ford. The brochure (opened as pictured) measures 18'' x 7-7/8''. It is in near mint condition with two small tears as can be seen at the bottom of the second picture. |
