The picture shows all (6) 1964 - 1965 New York World's Fair Items in this lot. On the left side is a closer view of the three coins in the lot. The (3) included brass coins / tokens are identical. They are in very good condition. One side has an image of the Unisphere and the other side has a man running with a briefcase and cane. It has a World's Fair 5 cent stamp and is postmarked "WORLD'S FAIR APR 22, 1964 N.Y." The left side has a nice image of the Unisphere and is marked as follows: COMMEMORATING NEW YORK WORLD'S FAIR 1964 - 1965 "PEACE THROUGH UNDERSTANDING" OFFICIAL FIRST DAY COVER FLEETWOOD UNISHERE ® PRESENTED BY USS UNITED STATES STEEL ©1961, NEW YORK WORLD'S FAIR 1964-1965 CORPORATION The other envelope is unused and bears the Fair's 5 cent stamp. Both of these appear to be in mint condition. The last item in this lot is a New York World's Fair tag (tag only) for a SONY Superscope Photo/Sync Tape Recorder "211-TS" The heavy tape recorder was purchased at the Fair. It was bought by an amateur film maker to synchronize his films of the Fair with music and narration. Shown is the two outside panels of the tag. The two inside panels have a lot of specific information on the tape recorder.All of these for one price! To judge the sizes the envelopes each measure 6-1/2" x 3-5/8". |
