| | | | The picture shows a view of the cover of this 1928 Little Black Sambo Magic Drawing Book. The book was published and © The Platt & Munk Company, Inc. and printed in the U.S.A.. This book has (36) pages. It is filled with images of Little Black Sambo, his Mother Black Mumbo, his Father Black Jumbo and a Tiger character. The pages are part drawings and part dot to dot (by number) with the directions on the back cover. Most of the pages are of images and there are a few story pages in between. The book measures about 7-1/4'' x 10''. The date ''28'' (for 1928) is by the artists initials in the lower right corner of the cover. It is in good condition. The dot to dot images are all done in pencil but could be erased if desired. None of the pages have been colored. There is a 1'' tear at the bottom of the book that is on all of the pages. There is a small puncture hole on the back cover. There is normal over all light wear from use. |
