| | | | The picture shows a view of this Old Unused Cocoa Puffs Cereal Premium Sonny Advertising Character Spinner Toy Ring. Both sides have a raised image of the Cocoa Puffs advertising character bird, Sonny. The year that this ring was made is unknown but it is believed to be from the 1960s or early 1970s. It would have been found as a prize in the cereal box. The ring is unused and unassembled. To assemble it you would detach the center section, rotate it and install the posts in the areas made for them. The center section would then be a spinner and rotate. It is made of a chocolate brown plastic and is marked as follows: RB TOY DEV. CO.
