It appears to be made of celluloid or another early plastic. It has a nice design on the border or edge on both the front and back. The left edge is blank and it is marked on the front as follows: CARDS
SOUVENIR OF
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. The card deck that is included is the one that we found in the holder. It may or may not be original to the holder, but it is a Bicycle deck by The U.S. Playing Card Company from Cincinnati, Ohio. The card deck is complete except for the Jokers. The card deck holder measures about 2-3/8'' x 3-9/16'' x 11/16''. It appears to be in excellent used condition as pictured. |
