It pictures a Soldier in uniform at the base of a mountain with a walking stick. It has green mountains, a yellow sky, and a red Sun. The picture below is a very close view. There is a paper insert in the back. It is marked on the two sides as follows: EXCELSIOR DAVID C. COOK PUBLISHING CO.
