Old Painted Celluloid Novelty Toy Bird Figurine
Celluloid   Toy   Bird   Cockatoo   Parrot   Animal   Figure   Figurine   Novelty
The picture shows three views of this Old Painted Celluloid Novelty Toy Bird Figurine. It looks like a Cockatoo or Parrot. This hollow bird figure is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1930s. It may have been used as an old carnival or fair prize, but it could have also been sold in an old five and dime store. It is not marked and the maker is unknown. It is nicely painted in blue, green, orange, and pink. The pink feathers are applied through holes on the back as made. Counting the ring perch it measures about 3-1/8'' tall. It appears to be in mint condition as pictured.
