The photograph is of a devastated family living in a makeshift dwelling in the shadows of the San Francisco City Hall. There are many destroyed buildings that can be seen in the background. It is difficult to see in the picture below, but the card is marked on the front as follows: 2021-A TEMPORARY HOME NEAR THE CITY HALL, SAN FRANCISCO, CAL.
