| | | | The picture shows all (16) Small Pig Or Hog Items in this lot. There are other similar lots of different animals in my items right now. Please be sure to see them all. This lot contains an embossed metal tag. I do not know what this was from, maybe the place was a meat packing plant, butcher, or a provisions distributor in Boston, Massachusetts. It has an image of a pig and reads: "JOHN P. SQUIRE & CO. - BOSTON". In this lot there is also a hand carved and painted pig, three other figures, and eleven charms of which all but one metal one were used in old gumball machines as prizes from the 1950's and 1960's. Most of these charms are copper or silver metal coated plastic. To judge the sizes the metal tag measures about 1-1/2" wide. They are in good to mint condition. |
