| | | | The picture shows a view of all (5) United States Military Service Star Pins in this lot. The service star indicated that you had a family member in the service, usually during wartime. A star indicated how many were enlisted. Flags would be hung in home windows and these pins would be worn on clothing. One of these has three stars and all of the others have one. Four of these are enameled metal pins and one is a pin back button with a red, white, and blue ribbon. The only one that is marked is on the far right. It is marked n the back as follows: PAT'D NOV. 6 1917 To judge the sizes the pinback button measures 7/8'' wide. These range from very good to mint condition as pictured. |
