This print is by the contemporary Artist Gig and was created in the 1960s when many Artists like Keane, Igor, Eden, Lee, Sherle, and many others were doing these big eyed or sad children, kitten, puppy, and animal art works. The image is of a young kitten on a wooden fence in a city slum. There is printed fascimile signature. It is marked as follows: GIG © There is probably more print under the mat board. The print is unframed but it is matted. It is shrink wrapped with a backing board and on the back is a plastic hanger for hanging. The print with the mat measures 10-1/8'' x 14''. It appears to be in mint condition as pictured. The white spots on the mat are light reflections. |
