It is believed to have been a prize won at one of the amusement parks that was on the lake. It may have been a prize in an old arcade game or purchased in an old gift shop. The knife has pearl like plastic handles and a charm loop to hang on a key chain or key ring. It is marked as follows: GEAUGA LAKE, OHIO
