| | | | The pictures below show larger views of this Early 1950s Colgate Palmolive Company Advertising Premium Magic Jewel Setter Kit. This kit is complete with the original mailer box. Part of the mailing address label is missing as pictured. It was sent from The Colgate Palmolive Company of 105 Hudson Street in Jersey City 2, New Jersey. We found an expiration date on the extra supplies order form which was September 30th, 1955. To get this premium offer kit you would have sent 50 cents and three wrappers from Palmolive Soap for each kit. This appears to be an early version of a ''Bedazzler'' clothing decorating set. Two Part Magic Jewel Setter Tool for applying the Magic Jewels
Small Cellophane Bag with some of the Magic Jewel parts. Everything in the pictures fit into the mailer box. To judge the sizes the box measures about 4-1/8'' x 3'' x 1-3/8''. The set appears to be in excellent condition as pictured. The paperwork has folds as made. We do not know how many of the jewel parts the kit is supposed to have, but there are some in the bag. The box has wear and creasing from mailing. |
