The picture below shows larger front and back views of this 1908 Engraved One Mile Run Race Sports Award Medal. On the front the medal features a wreath, a shield with an enameled insignia, and a 1908 engraved year. On the back is the engraved event and the manufacturers marking. At the top there is a charm loop and another ring to hang it from a chain or ribbon. It is marked on the two sides as follows:

The medal has an uneven edge and it measures about 1-1/4'' wide. It appears to be in excellent or better condition as pictured.
