Old Lake Winnipesaukee New Hampshire Advertising Souvenir Ruby Glass
Lake Winnipesaukee   New Hampshire   Advertising   Souvenir   Ruby Glass   Glass   Glassware   Tourist   Tourism   Travel   Nostalgic
The picture shows three views around this Old Lake Winnipesaukee New Hampshire Advertising Souvenir Ruby Glass. The glass is not dated like many but these were a popular souvenir item in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The glass has a ruby color top section and a gothic like pattern on the lower half. The bottom has a six point star pattern. It is engraved as follows:

LAKE WINNIPESAUKEE

The glass measures 2-5/8'' tall. At first glance the glass appears to be in excellent condition. It is displayable but unfortunately there is a bad crack. Part of the crack can be seen on the left picture in the red section. The crack travels following the pattern on the side and in the star on the bottom and then back to the beginning. It looks like it may have been glued. The damage is not readily seen unless you are looking for it.
