The picture shows this 1939 - 1940 NEW YORK WORLD'S FAIR Map. There is actually more than one map here. It unfolds to reveal four maps in all. There is the World's Fair Bird's Eye View Map you see below, plus a New York Subway and Elevated System Map, an Automobile Map, and a New York Principal Theatre and Shpping District Map. The last one also has hundreds of listings for Theatres, Motion Pictures, Night and Supper Clubs, and Restaurants. This was put out and advertised by the "ROYAL - LIVERPOOL GROUPS - FOR INSURANCE SECURITY AND SERVICE". The unfolded map measures 21-1/2" x 15-5/8". It is in excellent to near mint condition.
