| | | The picture shows a view of this Early British Sailor & White Star Line Liverpool Boat Photograph Glass Slide. This slide is not dated but it came from a lot that many were dated from the 1890s to the 1910s. This slide pictures a uniformed Sailor with a broom in front of a life boat or Captain's boat named ''LIVERPOOL''. It also has a flag with a star painted. The boat is chained to the ship. This photograph, we are told is from The White Star Line with Liverpool being the port of registry for this unknown merchant vessel of that line. Previously it was thought to be from the British Navy ship named H.M.S. Liverpool. Please judge by the clear picture below. The slide measures 4'' x 3-1/4''. It is in mint as made condition. |
