The pictures show views of this ©1917 World War I U.S. Navy & U.S. Army The Khaki Song Book. Shown is the cover and a few sample pages with a song. The cover features a color image of a Soldier in uniform playing a drum. There is an Army base with an American flag flying. There is also a Signalman Sailor with signal flags in uniform, as well as a U.S. Navy war ship with flags. They are both standing by a flag pole. The title and company name are on banners. There are also two different flag shields with stars and stripes.

At the beginning of this (70) page songbook is a War Message from U.S. President Woodrow Wilson that was read at The Joint Session of Congress at Washington, D.C. on April 2, 1917. The table of Contents lists (75) patriotic and religious Hymn songs. The title page reads as follows:

THE KHAKI SONG BOOK
FOR OUR SOLDIER AND SAILOR BOYS
AND THE FOLKS THEY LEAVE BEHIND THEM
BOSTON: OLIVER DITSON COMPANY
NEW YORK: CHAS. H. DITSON & CO. CHICAGO: LYON & HEALY

The book measures 6-3/4'' x 10-3/4''. It appears to be in fair, well used condition as pictured. The cover is loose from the pages. The book appears to be complete but there is over all wear and tear from many years of use.
