| | | The pictures show views of this Boxed ©1974 Morton Salt Girl Advertising Character Shoppin' Pal Doll. This doll is boxed and has never been played with. She comes dressed in her yellow raincoat with a miniature can of Morton Salt, and a cardboard punch out umbrella. ''When It Rains It Pours.'' She is one of a series of three Shoppin' Pal character dolls that was made by Mattel in 1974. The other two include Sailor Jack from Cracker Jack and the Chicken of the Sea (tuna) Mermaid, both of which are pictured on the side of the box. These cloth dolls were intended to accompany children in the store while grocery shopping. To judge the sizes the window box measures 5-7/8'' x 15-3/8'' x 2-1/4''. The doll is in mint unused condition and the box has only minor shelf wear as pictured. |
