The picture shows two views of this Old Gold Bar & Race Horse Desk Paper Weight Spinner. The paperweight is not dated but it is old. The maker is unknown. The bottom has brown felt like cloth to protect surfaces. Each side of the metal spinner coin has a half of a race horse. When spun you see the complete image. There is an engraved brass plate on the gold bar base. It is engraved as follows:

DECISIONS
DECISIONS
DECISIONS

Perhaps the decision to be made is to buy gold, or bet on the horses.

To judge the sizes the base measures 2'' x 3-1/8''. It appears to be in mint condition as pictured.
