| | | | The picture shows a view of all (7) Old Hard Plastic Ocean Liner Cruise Ship Toy Whistles in this lot. These are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1950s and 1960s. There are slightly different styles and there are different color combinations. Only one is marked on the bottom (third from the right). It reads ''SHIP'S' HAVEN CHILDREN WELCOME''. These were most likely either given or mailed as premiums or sold in old five and dime stores. Different tones are made by placing or removing fingers on the smoke stacks. To judge the sizes the longest one measures 4-1/4'' long. These vary from very good to mint condition as pictured. Some have some teeth marks from use. |
