The picture shows a front and back view of this 1834 United States Hard Times Token. Thhi coin was partially researched by their collector in the 1980's. I will be going by what is written on the coin holder. Also, because I am not a professional grader, and since conditions are subjective, I will not attempt to grade these coins. You will need to judge the condition by the clear obverse and reverse images of the coin. One side has an image of a man and the other side has a running wild boar. The obverse and reverse read as follows:

MY SUBSTITUTE
FOR THE U.S. BANK
MY EXPERIMENT
MY CURRENCY
MY GLORY
PERISH CREDIT
PERISH COMMERCE
MY VICTORY
MY THIRD HEAT
DOWN WITH THE BANK
1834

This coin measures 1-1/8" wide.
