The pictures below show larger views of this Boxed ©1926 Wooden Standard Trailer Company Dad’s Puzzler Slide Puzzle. The first picture shows the box cover and the wooden slide puzzle inside the box. The second picture shows the under side of the box cover, with penciled writing, and the bottom of the box, also with writing. It was manufactured by The Standard Trailer Company of Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania. There are nine wooden pieces inside. The solution and instructions are printed on the cover. The printing on the box reads as follows:

DAD’S PUZZLER
PAT APPLIED FOR
FEW SOLVE IT – IT CAN BE DONE
COPYRIGHT 1926
BY J. W. HAYWARD
PLACE THE BLOCKS IN BOX AS PER DIAGRAM.
THE PUZZLE IS TO MOVE THE BIG SQUARE BLOCK
FROM CORNER A TO CORNER C WITHOUT JUMPING OR RAISING
ANY BLOCK FROM BOTTOM OF THEBOX OR TURNING ANY PIECE.
MANUFACTURED BY
THE STANDARD TRAILER CO.
CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS, PA.
“TAKE ONE HOME”

Apparently this puzzle was given as a Christmas present to a boy named Roger Stevenson from a Mrs. Parker. (a Teacher maybe) There is a pencil drawing, and writing on the box reads as follows:

THE END.
MRS. PARKER
MERRY CHRISTMAS
FOR YOUNG MEN OR OLDER PEOPLE
TO ROGER STEVENSON
I CAN DO THE PUZZLE & SO CAN
YOU OR ANY ONE
IN THE FAMILY.

To judge the sizes the small cardboard box measures about 3-5/16'' x 4-1/16'' x 1/2''. It appears to be in good used condition with some wear from handling, and penciled writing as mentioned above and pictured.
