| | | | The picture shows a view of this Old Cigar Band Covered China Plate. The year that this was made is unknown but it is old. This is a small yellow china plate that is covered with the center section of cigar bands. The images are the same but some have a green background and some are red. They are marked ''MERCATOR''. The center is also a cigar band. It is marked with the French words: ''Meilleurs Voeux'' (Better Wishes) . The plate itself is not marked. The plate measures 5-1/2'' wide. It is in excellent condition as pictured with a few small flakes on of the few of the cigar bands along the edge. |
