| | | | The picture shows a view of this Small Old Carved Wooden Foot Cigarette Ash Tray or Incense Holder. This ashtray is not dated but it was acquired with a collection of 1960s and early 1970s items. It is not marked and the maker or carver is unknown. The type of wood it is made from is also unknown. It is very similar to other carvings (mostly hand symbols or gestures) that we have had that came from the Bahamas or the Virgin Islands. It is an ashtray with one slot for a cigarette, but it had been used to burn incense cones. The foot ashtray measures about 4'' long. It appears to be in good condition with wear and obvious use as pictured. |
