The picture shows two views of this Old Washington, D.C. Advertising Souvenir Ceramic Bedpan Cigarette Ashtray. The year that this ash tray was made is unknown but it is old. The imprint in the center is in maroon and the rest is in gold paint. It pictures an all seeing eye in the center and it is marked as follows:

KEEP ME NICE AND CLEAN
I WON'T TELL WHAT I HAVE SEEN

WASHINGTON, D.C.

The bed pan ashtray measures 3-1/2'' x 4-1/2'' x 1-1/4''. It is in excellent condition as pictured with a little age crazing on the inside.
