The pictures below show larger front and back views of this 1959 Schenectady County New York Sesquicentennial Advertising Souvenir Ceramic or China Plate. The darker area at the top is only a shadow. The plate was made by Kettlesprings Kilns of Alliance, Ohio for Hooper Advertising Service, of Albany, N.Y.. The plate has dark blue print on white ceramic. The large plate has (7) detailed images. These include the following:

SCHENECTADY COUNTY 1809 (center emblem)
SCHENECTADY COUNTY SESQUICENTENNIAL 1809 - 1959
EDISON MACHINE WORKS IN 1888 - FORERUNNER OF GENERAL ELECTRIC CO.
ERIE CANAL AND DOCK STREET
DUANE HOUSE DUANESBURG BUILT IN 1812
FIRST LOCOMOTIVE BUILT IN SCHENECTADY - 1848 -
UNION COLLEGE
SCOTIA SCHENECTADY BRIDGE WITH BROOMCORN GROWING IN FOREGROUND

There is more information on the back of the plate. The plate measures about 10-1/8'' wide. It appears to be in excellent condition except for a small edge chip at the top as pictured, that was probably from a plate wall hanger.
