Miniature   Occupied Japan   Empire State Building   New York   Advertising   Souvenir   Plate   Porcelain   World War II   WWII
The picture shows a front and back view of this Old Miniature Occupied Japan Empire State Building Advertising Souvenir Plate. This tiny souvenir plate is not dated but it is from the late 1940s just after World War II. It has a painted blue rim with flowers and a transfer in the center of the Empire State Building. It is marked on the two sides as follows:

EMPIRE STATE BLDG.
NEW YORK CITY
MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN

The miniature plate measures 1-7/8'' wide. It is in excellent condition with a little wear to the transfer that looks like clouds in the picture.
