1950's Howdy Doody Premium Toy Ring

The picture shows three views of this 1950's Howdy Doody Premium Toy Ring. It is made of plastic. The ring and base have a silver chrome paint and Howdy Doody's face is painted in color. This ring is believed to have been a give away premium from Poll Parrot Shoes, but may have been used by other companies as well. Howdy Doody was sponsored over the years by Kellogg's and Nabisco Cereal, Ideal and Marx Toys, Welch's Grape Juice, Mars and Tootsie Roll Candy, Poll Parrot Shoes, Ovaltine, Colgate, and Wonder Bread. The ring measures 3/4" wide. It is a fairly scarce toy ring in excellent condition with a little paint wear as pictured.
