One is the bottom, one the hull, and one for the seat inside. It comes with a small card that is marked as follows: CANOES
BASSWOOD HAS BEAUTIFUL GRAINS AND TEXTURE. EACH CANOE IS INDIVIDUALLY HANDCRAFTED. FINISHED IN: NATURAL TUNG OIL. SHELLAC OR BRILLIANT ACRYLIC ENAMEL.
