The picture shows a view of both sides of this Old Rip Van Winkle Good Luck Advertising Token Coin Charm. The year that this coin was made or used is unknown but it is old. It is octagon shaped and appears to be made of brass. The token has a raised image of Rip Van Winkle on one side. He has a long beard and is holding a rifle and hat. The other side has good luck symbols such as a horse shoe, wish bone, and a four leaf clover. The two sides are marked as follows:
